
Professor Chen Fala’s research team, based at the School of Mathematical Sciences of the University of Science and Technology of China, currently consists of 1 professor, 2 associate research fellows, 2 postdoctoral researchers, and multiple doctoral and master’s students. The research group focuses on cutting-edge fields such as computational geometry, computer-aided geometric design, and computer graphics, forming a high-level scientific research and teaching team. Core research areas include: moving surface methods for surface implicitization, spline surfaces on T-meshes, 3D scattered point reconstruction based on implicit surfaces, geometric modeling, isogeometric analysis, and topological optimization, among others. The team adheres to the principle of integrating research and teaching, cultivating a large number of key talents. Actively engaged in international collaborations, the team plans to further deepen frontier research and interdisciplinary integration in the future, contributing to the enhancement of scientific research capabilities.
