Jun Bao

Prof. Bao is a researcher and doctoral supervisor of the National Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory (NSRL), University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). He received his PhD degree in the Department of Chemical Physics, USTC. Afterwards, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in NSRL for three years. From 2006 to 2008, he worked at the University of Toyama, Japan. The main research directions are the development and application of carbon-based energy catalysis and synchrotron radiation experimental technology. He has published more than 110 papers in high-impact journals including J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., ACS Catal., Appl. Catal. B, etc. He was also invited to participate in writing two English monographs and has been authorized 12 invention patents. He undertook and completed about 20 research projects financially supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Education and enterprise cooperation.
