Team members Introduction:

Mahdi Safarzadeh is an Iranian PhD student in Space Physics at the Department of Earth and Space Sciences, University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). He joined USTC in 2023 and previously completed his M.Sc. in Computer Technology and Application at USTC.

His previous research and technical experience focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Computer Vision, and Human-Robot Interaction (HRI), including long-distance hand gesture recognition for robotic applications. He has strong programming experience in Python and AI-based system development.

Since September 2026, he has joined the laboratory and become a member of the research team. His current research interests include Earth and space science, remote sensing, and the application of Artificial Intelligence and computational methods to scientific research.
